Description
Botanical name: Cedrus deodara
Himalayan Cedar essential oil is extracted by steam distillation of roots and wood. Cedrus deodara or Himalayan Cedar is native to western Himalaya growing at altitude of 1500-3200m high. It derives from the Sanskrit ‘devadaru’ which means ‘wood of the gods’.
